I will be back in civilization for a week ,before returning to Fitzroy Crossing for another month.

I am so enjoying my nursing experience with indigenous Australians, it is so rewarding and diverse. The scenery is spectacular and learning how culture can affect the way we feed our babies and the unique problems that are encountered by different communities. As a lactation consultant I have been able to use my skills ,which is something I thought was not a problem in aboriginal culture. I have seen IGT ,low milk supply, but nipple pain just doesn’t seem to happen here. Also tongue and lip tie is not such a problem .
